(80 to 120 milligrams per decilitre in US measurements)
Tips for blood glucose tests!
When you prick your finger for
a blood glucose test -
Use a gentle pumping action
(2 or 3 pumps will be enough)
rather than one long
continuous squeeze.
Always use the sides of your
fingers rather than the centre -
there are less nerve endings.
You will find it far easier
and a lot less painful!
Remember that the pin prick device
can be altered for skin thickness -
try it on the lowest setting and adjust up!
